Questions & Answers
Question: Our quote is based on the equipment specifications provided on the platform. If there are any discrepancies and the actual dimensions require permits or escort vehicles, those costs will be additional. Please confirm the exact overall height of the equipment so we can verify the transportation requirements and proceed with the correct quote. Thank you, and we look forward to your confirmation. -Hector
Question: How wide you figure with the blade angled as in AB they have lower restrictions for pilots than SK/MB do. Also, got a weight available? Nick
Good moening Nick, as this is a new to us machine I’ll try to be as accurate as possible. The blade will angle to 13’ (156”) maybe slightly less. As for weights to error on the side of caution give it 27500KG (60,000LB)
Alright, so we'll use a detachable lowboy since it's 60,000 lbs. 13ft wide, will require pilot cars in Alberta though sadly. I'll include them in the quote along with cargo insurance, fuel surcharge, and sales tax. Nick
Thought I'd follow up on my offers, you still looking to book transport? Thanks, Nick
Hello Nick, I can’t pinpoint your bid, they all say “broker” there is a couple bids I’m
Interested in depending on if delivery date is before we can go get it ourselves. Can you private message me some how ?
This is basically the only way to communicate on this platform sadly sorry. We are also a licensed broker though, just so we're on the same page, my bid notes entail confirmation of the 60,000 lb weight, and 13ft width. Thanks, Nick
Question: Hi, I see that you listed the width of the blade at 14' and confirmed that we can angle it to avoid escorts. Alberta requires escorts on loads 12'7'' and wider, and Saskatchewan requires escorts if the load extends over the centerline of the road. However, it will still require Over-Width permits all the way, as permits are required for anything wider than 8'6''. Could you please confirm the total width after angling the blade?
This way I can provide not only a competitive quote, but also an accurate one. Thank you. **J**
Good morning, thank you for the reply. I will get them to angle the blade all the way and give us an exact measurement so there is no guessing. As soon as I know I’ll let you know.
Hi, thank you for the fast reply. I found specs online listed as 20' L X 11' W (not counting the blade) x 11' H + 48,000 LBS. I just need the width of the blade after angled to provide you with a quote. Thank you.
Ok I will get you that info asap, I believe that weight would be without blade and ripper, the dealer said it is close to 60,000lbs
Hi, I was just passing by to see if you were able to get the width of the blade after being angled? Thank you.
Hello, yes sorry for the late reply on that. We measured it to 12’ 11” so will need an escort
Hi, I have a driver who can pick up today. Can you proceed with accepting my offer so that we can pick up immediately? My offer already includes all permits and escorts required for the 12'11'' width. Thank you.
