Question: In MASS - If a load exceeds 130,000lbs an oustide engineering firm must conduct a route survey. The cheapest I have ever got these done for is like 12k. My recommendation is to stear it down completely - car body, track frames, CWT, boom, Stick, bucket- move it as 5 loads to avoid the survey. Otherwise they will hammer you for an extra12-15k MADOT
