Questions & Answers

Question: We can supply transport but not tear-down, so if you are willing to arrange that let me know. Thanks
Shipping Customer
We can arrange, what configuration does the EX 1200 need to be in for transport? Thanks

Idea is to get it down under 125000 lbs, so tracks, boom, stick, bucket, counter-weights...

Let me know what you can get the main body down to for weight once you've had a chance to check that out, and also let me know the weights of the other components that will come off so I can include those in a bundle quote to ship all of it. Thanks NIck

What would be the main body weight after you remove the cat walks, boom etc?
Question: Hi, I'm very interested in shipping this excavator to Houston, TX. Can you arrange disassembly and loading and unloading?I can arrange the shipping for the main unit and the fall off loads. Looking forward to hear back from you. Best Regards, Ed.
Question: Hello, hope you're doing great Sir, I can get my crew of mechanics to help us with the removal of components either this or next week, now I'm counting on one RGN needed for the main body, we will need to remove the tracks and send each of those on a step deck trailer so there will be 2 additional trucks, we can put some of the components to get those trailers full making sure we can take advantage of the capacity.$

We will require 3 additional step deck trailers one handling the bucket and stick, and the other one will handle the boom and catwalks, and one trailer will be handling the CWT, we might need to use an additional trailer to handle the rest of the components, how soon are you looking to get this done?, I can schedule all the trailers to be there at the latest Monday or Tuesday of next week, are there cranes we can use at the two locations or do we need to include the cost per event?.$

Hello, hope you're dong great Sir, are you still looking to get the unit moved?.$
Service Provider
Hello, hope you're doing great Sir, how soon are you expecting the unit to be ready?, I can supply both the transport and the mechanic to do the dismantling and I'm pretty sure I can get you a reasonable offer to consider, I have worked on similar projects with dozer, cranes and excavators, I can get a crew there at your best convenience.$
Question: What will be the weight of the main body once it's stripped down?
Question: Last time I had one of these coal shovels broken down it was over 100 grand just in tear down alone. With this being in the absolute middle of nowhere there is probably only one company within 500 miles that could do it. It ships in like 7/8 loads, and the body has to be stripped down to bear frame with cab and cat walks removed. tracks are a load each. Boom, stick, bucket, odds and end pieces. Hardest part is getting a crew up there + a crane
Question: need details for this unit. to what dimensions and weight does it need to be tore down to, do you want everything in sea cans, ect ect
