Question: I can get a rotator to drive up from Ocala, it’s going to be expensive because that’s a full 8 hours worth of work with the drive. My concern is there is no hydraulics so the boom won’t knuckle, meaning that you would have to haul it like it sits. I would venture to guess it’s 12’ tall now. Would hate to send a stepdeck and then it not work.
All the hydraulic hoses are burnt out, so there is no problem to fold the boom into the transport position.
I will put a bid in for a stepdeck + rotator + assuming the rotator can spin the cab and knuckle the boom using the crane cable. If there was a rigger on site to help it would make it a lot easier, but I would guess the folks that sold it aren’t going to be much help.
