Question: Are these headed cross border and if so to where?
Destination is Coutts Alberta for now and after that Provo Utah
Tremonton now, loaded there yesterday. I might have another trip south. We can pick up and store if required and have equipment to load, unload. I can refer you to a customs broker. I am an asset based carrier and not a freight reseller.
This is for a machine we purchased in California I’m not reselling
Question: Makes no difference. They were made somewhere else, purchased in Canada and are coming into the USA. That means a customs broker is mandatory. There is no duty free, tariff free exemption right now. If there are massive tariffs (plan on that), we can keep these at our yard at no charge until Canada and the US decide to play nice at the border again.
