Important Load Information
Please read all the information before bidding. I bought this truck from Copart Canada, but it's no longer there. It's currently near the border at the Peace Bridge, but I can move it to any bridge that's easily accessible if we agree, as it's self-driving. The problem is that it doesn't have US DOT and I can't get a letter of conformity from GMC to cross the border driving because of its age and its have salvage title. I wanted to drive it to Mexico, but without these permits, and plate, it can't be driven in the USA. That's why I need your help with the export. I need it transported with your permit from the Canadian border to Laredo, Texas, Mexico. You can leave it in Laredo, Texas, and I'll take it across to Mexico, or whatever you recommend is easiest. Either way, I'm taking it to Mexico as my final destination and will have it legalized there, with no return to either the USA or Canada. Thank you.

Questions & Answers
Question: We can ship it in IN BOND down to Laredo TX - this would avoid dealing with US Customs all-together - you'll have to line up a forwarder/bonded facility in Laredo for us to unload it at though to keep it all legal. What you do with it from there is up to you. Will submit pricing. Nick
Hi Nick, I think your bid is the 5 thousand, right? Sorry, I have a question, I don't understand the bonded facility in Laredo that you say, can you explain for me a little more, please? Thank you.
If I accept, you transport the truck on a flat bed?
You must be looking at someone else's offer - mine is higher than that. Customs - there are two ways to get this into the USA. Option A - it has to clear customs, and conform to all DOT regulations - which your truck does not, so that wouldn't work. Option B - you have it shipped to a "customs bonded" facility in Laredo, then we can ship it IN BOND and by-pass US Customs and regulations as it's not staying in the USA. Hope that's helpful. Nick
Oh, if hired, we'll be shipping it on an air-ride deck trailer equipped with ramps (per my bid notes). Thanks, Nick
