1967 GTO VFN full fiberglass body with custom aluminum door hinges and trunk hinges, approximately 100 pounds in weight. Custom chassis and roll cage constructed in compliance with all NHRA safety regulations, capable of certifying to 8.50 seconds or slower elapsed time. Designed as a pro street/drag racing vehicle, outfitted with components necessary to pass Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) inspection for street legality. Configured for a Big Block Chevrolet (BBC) engine and Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission, equipped with a reverse manual turbo action shifter. Features Strange Engineering Ford 9-inch rear differential, Mustang manual rack and pinion steering, Wilwood manual disc brakes, and coilover suspension. Front suspension built with Art Morrison components. Interior includes two seats and a 19-gallon fuel cell. The body incorporates the 1967 front grille, turn signals, and miscellaneous smaller parts. Partial sheet metal work has been initiated. Project made from scratch
